As part of the larger efforts of the Jordan Farmar Foundation, Jordan is proud to announce the Inaugural Jordan Farmar Celebrity Golf Classic and Gala. The Gala and Golf Classic will be held this July 19th and 20th right here in Los Angeles, bringing athletes, celebrities, and others together for a wonderful weekend, all in the name of Charity. All of the money raised will go to the Jordan Farmar Foundation which supports various childrens’ charities in the Southern California area.
At the Gala, on Sunday Night July 19th, guests will get to mingle with Jordan and a number of other athletes and celebrities while taking in the view from 1010 Wilshire, voted downtown’s top roof. This exclusive gala is an “all-White Affair” and will give guests a taste of LA, from great good, to fashion, and music. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on one of a kind sports memorabilia and event packages, with all the proceeds going to the Foundation. Admittance to the gala is included for those playing in the tournament, and tickets are available to the general public for $100 each. The Gala will begin at 8:00 PM. For ticket information, call the Jordan Farmar Foundation at 310 473-5445.
On Monday, July 20th, participants will join up with celebrities for a round of golf at the prestigious Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Ca. Sherwood Country Club is home to a championship 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature
golf course which proudly hosts the Tiger Woods Foundation/Chevron World Challenge Tournament each year. One of the most challenging and exclusive courses in all of Southern California, Sherwood really is as good as it gets. Don’t miss this opportunity to take your shot at the best So Cal has to offer. Tee times start at 12:00 PM.
After the round join Jordan and the rest of the celebrities for a luncheon and reception to recap the great event.

My younger daughter has been helped by The UCLA/Mattel Hospital. I would like to donate my services on July 20 to help out any way I can at the tournament. I live nearby and have volunteered to help other organizations’ golf tournaments by stuffing gift bags, running the putting contest, helping with guests, etc. My older 21 year old daughter who attends UCLA would also be able to assist if needed.
I would not be there to eat, play golf ,make contacts, sell anyone anything, take photos(unless you wanted me to) or get autographs—-I would be there to help out this wonderful foundation. I am a retired entertainment executive and would be happy to furnish you with references from other charities and the country club. Please let me know!
Sincerely,
